One of the essentials to a Happy life!

Nalen Gurer Sandesh and Dorbesh.
This picture was taken last year during Durga Pujas. One of my good friend's had put up a stall of these bengali specialities. And what quality they were. The Durga Puja Preparations have started and that reminded me of these wonders of Bengal.
Here is a click for everyone to enjoy. The rest of them are for me to gaze at until I get to taste the next tray. I keep looking at these pictures often to think of that one whole week that my family relished those wonders of Bengal made in US by IT professionals who have a passion for the finest in life.

Layers of Imaginations

I stood mesmerised... as he took control of my being.
I had no say in how I wanted to feel at that moment.
I experienced what he wanted me to experience.
All of it a Truth, as I was living a Dream.

The Natural Sculptor- Colorado

How awesome is this view!
In the second pic the swirl in the water is a speed jet. So you can have a perspective how humongous this canyon is.

Bee-zy!!

This was clicked during the Memorial Day long weekend at Saguaro National Park Museum.
We were greeted with a beautiful, partial cloudy day. The temperature was warm but not hot. And there was a light breeze. It was romantic with birds, chirping, silver lined clouds in the sky with the sun shining through.
What surprised me the most was the abundance of flora and fauna in the desert.
Here is one glimpse of it.

Will continue with this series for sometime.

Orchid angel

This bloom is a closeup from my very own collection of Orchids. Does not that look like a face to you. I always seem to see eyes. Just like I see a rabbit sit on the moon.
Hope you like it.

World's Most Crooked Street!

I love the Lombard Street drive. Its a long line to reach the actual crooked stretch and the climb is stiff steep. I have been here countless times and have seen the place at all hours of the day and in every season's bloom. The tiny stretch is always filled with tourists and so not a photographer's delight really.
This shot was taken last year in Fall, in San Francisco. One of the last pictures of the day shot from the Coit Tower looking at Lombard Street with a dream like Sunset in the back ground.
Divine.

SunSet Surprises.

This was taken last year at Point Lobos National Park, CA. I tried to search for the native animals of this region and a similar animal I found was a Desert Jackal to the california deserts and shores. So probably this fellow was looking for dinner when he met with our car. We stopped on our path to gaze at this God's creation standing against the Setting sun. It was specatular Golden everywhere and this guy was ready to pose. It must be around 5:30pm and I have not used any special effects in this picture.

Drenched in Moonlight

This was taken in August a day before I left for India. And I never had the proper time to look at my works. Now that I am selecting pictures to make a calendar. I found this one from the infinite heap. Its beautiful I think!

Doe Woe-

This cutie was being stalked by a stud. She seemed not intereted in him but on second thoughts it could be part of the game. For us it was a special moment to witness, in the wild.

Bee-Phooled!

This is one of a series of photos that I was able to click on a very lucky day. These miracles of nature are the reason I love spending my weekends on reserves and national/state parks. And I am lucky to have enough of oppertunities.

I mixed two languages for the title. This is a wasp I think, but I have used Bee for my convenience and Phool means flower in hindi. I verbed the hindi noun. Pardon!

Victoria Memorial

I did not have the time (read, no one had the interest to take me) to visit Victoria Memorial although it was on my to-do list. But I got some wonderful opportunities to take some shots.

All the pictures have been taken from a moving bus which means it was quite a bumpy experience!

These pictures are taken mostly during evening hours, against cloudy Sky.
I use a Sony Cybershot with an optical zoom of 15x.
If you need a
dded information about the camera check the Sony website, coz I am lazy.
